Compare with the 6, the 6 pro model uses titanium rods that don't need to be replaced.
What are the actual size of this product and how big do I need the opening to be?
The actual size of this product is 15“ x 15” x 21.6“, and the opening is 13” x 13”.
Is it possible to extend the wire of the remote control?
Yes, it is. Please use 24AWG shielded wire for extension.
Can I install it by myself? What additional accessories do I need to buy?
Installation is easy, just follow the instructions.
There is no need to purchase additional accessories. However, please pay attention to whether the existing gas connector and water pipe connector are suitable.
How to protect against freezing? Is it necessary to use RV antifreeze?
This RV storage water heater will automatically heat up the unit when the water temperature falls below the set temperature under normal turn-on conditions, thus providing some degree of freeze protection, but this will consume energy.
We do not recommend using RV antifreeze inside the tank. Rather, it is recommended that the tank be emptied to prevent damage caused by water freezing in cold temperatures. The specific steps are as follows:
- Turn off the inlet and outlet water ball valves
- Open the TP valve for pressure relief
- Disassemble the magnesium/titanium rod and drain the water inside the water tank through the magnesium/titanium rod joint.
When the tank is completely emptied, the product parts can withstand extreme low temperature environment, will not be damaged due to low temperature.
